The problem lies in the idea that
I am trying to use it for something
which a good portion of the populace
would misunderstand because of the
pop meaning. It is the dichotomy of
needs and thus meanings which compli-
cates things.
It is amazing how much power these
advertisers have in altering the lang-
uage. It is what they "need" to sell
the product that alters things, and
I think (though naively, no doubt) that
their need has much less worth than the
uses which you or I might put it to. I
think that the language is being raped,
just as land is raped, to get the re-
sources for capitalist success.
