  Whenever I use words like dynamic,
obsession, etc.. I have a tendency to
think of the products they are asso-
ciated with. It is interesting that
products give more definition to some
words than their real definitions.

  Our language is becoming mutated and
diluted by advertising. Obsession orig-
inally meant a great deal more before
the pop movement slapped it on a cologne.

  Of course this goes further; in this
day and age people feel free to use the
word paranoia, for instance, when they 
could not conceivably grasp the true
meaning of the word, creating a pop usage
which is so incredibly mild that when one
goes to describe something that actually
is paranoid, using the word belittles the
